Ask & Assist

Two workflows sit on top of the same governed knowledge layer: Ask finds the right answer, and Assist turns that evidence into a ready-to-send reply.

Ask

Ask is a conversational interface over your organizational memory. Each answer is grounded in retrieved documents and includes:

  • Numbered citations linking back to the source documents
  • A confidence rating derived from the strength of the evidence
  • A clear signal when there is not enough evidence to answer
  • An Evidence toggle that reveals the exact retrieved passages and per-source relevance scores behind each citation
  • Up to three suggested follow-up questions, generated only from your knowledge
Retrieval only considers documents the current user’s teams are allowed to see, so answers never leak restricted knowledge.

Assist

Assist takes an incoming message — a customer ticket, an internal question, or a partner email — and drafts a reply using only approved knowledge. You choose the audience and tone, and anything unverifiable is marked for confirmation rather than invented.

  • Audience and tone controls adapt the reply for customers, internal teams, or partners
  • Confirmation markers flag facts that need human verification before sending
  • Threads keep the full back-and-forth so follow-ups stay in context

Conversation history

Ask and Assist keep separate histories, and every conversation is private to the user who created it. Switching between the two workflows never mixes their threads. History is never deleted — every conversation remains available in the sidebar and the activity feed.

Administrators can open any conversation from the Activity feed for audit and coaching purposes; members can only ever open their own.
